Vegas Nationwide race TV Rating

ESPN says ESPN2’s coverage of last Saturday’s Sam’s Town 300 NASCAR Nationwide Series rate earned a 2.1 household coverage rating from Nielsen Media Research. The rating matched that of last year race, which also was carried on ESPN2, and averaged 2.8 million viewers. The network also says the race was the highest-rated sporting event on cable television for the weekend.
