3 Doors Down to headline Miller Lite Carb Day Concert
The concert is free to all ticket holders for Miller Lite Carb Day, the final day of on-track activity before the Indianapolis 500 Mile Race on Sunday, May 24. Tickets are just $10 each, with children 5 and under admitted free.
"Miller Lite Carb Day is filled with non-stop entertainment and excitement from start to finish," said Joie Chitwood, Indianapolis Motor Speedway president and chief operating officer. "The energy and power of 3 Doors Down will provide a perfect soundtrack to one of the biggest days of the year at the Speedway."
The concert will mark a return to IMS for 3 Doors Down, which electrified the 2005 Indianapolis 500 Race Day crowd with its performance during pre-race ceremonies and driver introductions.
3 Doors Down consists of Brad Arnold, vocals; Matt Roberts, lead guitar; Chris Henderson, rhythm guitar; Todd Harrell, bass; and Greg Upchurch, drums.
The band's catalog includes four acclaimed studio albums, which have sold more than 15 million copies combined worldwide. 3 Doors Down's latest, self-titled album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in 2008. The band's 2005 album, "Seventeen Days," also reached No. 1 on the Billboard charts in 2005.
Formed in Escatawpa, Miss., 3 Doors Down also has charted numerous hit singles, including "Kryptonite," "Loser," "Duck and Run," "When I'm Gone," "Here Without You," "Let Me Go," "Behind Those Eyes" and "It's Not My Time."
