Brawn team stirs up the odds
"With some incredible times in testing this week the Brawn team, and both it's drivers Jensen Button and Rubens Barrichello have been backed at all odds for the world title and will cost us a six figure sum if they go on to achieve that feat, they are now one of the front runners to be crowned champions," said Coral spokesman Gary Burton.
"Button was backed heavily at 66/1 and 33/1 earlier in the week and is now as short as 8/1 for the drivers title, his team mate Rubens Barrichello was as big as 125/1 and was supported down to 14/1, with Brawn backed from 80/1 into 7/1 for the constructors championship," added Burton.
Reigning champion Lewis Hamilton is the out to 7/2 (from 9/4) to retain his title after his McLaren team disappointed in testing, Fernando Alonso and Kimi Raikkonen are both 4/1.
It's then 5/1 Felipe Massa, 13/2 Robert Kubica and 8/1 Button, team mate Barrichello and Sebastian Vettel are 14/1.
Ferrari are the 11/8 favorites for the constructors' title with McLaren now 3/1 (from 2/1), Sauber are 10/3, Brawn are 7/1 and it's 10/1 bar the four with Coral.
