Toro Rosso happy with Ferrari power – owner

(GMM) Toro Rosso owner Dietrich Mateschitz has indicated he has no plans to seek a new engine supplier for the Faenza based team.

After using Cosworth power for its debut season in 2006, the former Minardi team switched to Ferrari, clearing the way for sister team Red Bull to use Renault engines.

2009 is therefore Toro Rosso's third consecutive season with the Maranello built power plants, following the recent signing of an option in the existing contract.

"Who better to supply a private Italian team with engines than Ferrari?" billionaire Mateschitz told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
