Jay Howard will pilot the No. 37 Team PBIR car

Palm Beach International Raceway today announced that Jay Howard will pilot the No. 37 Team PBIR Firestone Indy Lights car.

“It is a great honor to have Jay Howard driving our car. He is an extremely talented driver and brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the team," states Ron Dixon, PBIR President. Howard joins driver Charlie Kimball who will be racing the No. 35 team car.

Twenty-eight year old Howard already holds three championship titles as the Indy Lights Champion (2006), F2000 Champion (2005) and U.K.F. Renault 2000 Champion (2003). He moved from Basildon, England to the United States in 2005 winning Rookie of the Year honors the same year. Howard, who began karting at age 7, now resides in Palm Beach, Florida where he runs a kart team as well as the go-kart track at PBIR.

In their inaugural Firestone Indy Lights season, Team PBIR brings a wealth of engineering and chassis setup experience. The combination of the driver and the team is destined to produce impressive results.
