Rain hits St. Petersburg

UPDATE The rain has stopped and the sun is peeking through the clouds as IndyCar practice has begun. The track is still wet in places, but it is drying.

04/03/09 Rain has begun to fall here in St. Petersburg as the ALMS cars were on track for their very first practice session. It was a light rain when the session started, but by the end the track was soaking wet and lap times were slow. Temperatures are warm with moderate humidity and it is not expected to rain all weekend. Next up is Indy Lights practice. More reports to follow……
