Olivia Ortiz Wins ‘Miss TW Steel Portugal’
TW Steel, the ‘Official Watch and Timing Partner’ of A1GP World Cup of Motorsport crowned its sixth national ‘Miss TW Steel’ winner in Portugal on Sunday, 12th April, as Miss Olivia Ortiz was selected at the stunning new Autodromo Internacional do Algarve outside Portimao.
The 22-year-old’s win, which included a prize of $1500 and her own TW Steel watch, followed on-track victories in A1GP for Robert Doornbos and A1 Team Netherlands, in the morning’s Sprint race, and Neel Jani for A1 Team Switzerland in the afternoon’s dramatic Feature race.
Ortiz, who hails from Guarda in Portugal, now moves forward to the ‘Miss TW Steel’ grand finale, set to take place this summer in the United Kingdom. The national winners, all crowned at A1GP races held around the world this season, will go head-to-head for the title of ‘Miss TW Steel 2008-09’, $25,000 US in prize money and a photo-shoot with a leading lifestyle magazine.
