KV Racing Technology driver Mario Moraes is making his second appearance on the 1.5-mile tri-oval in Kansas this weekend and the 20-year-old Brazilian is not only anxious to compete on an oval again, but hopes this time all 4 wheels stay on the car.

“Last year Kansas was really hard for me because we had the wheel nut come off in the first practice (while driving for another team) and then we didn’t make qualifying," Moraes said. “But after the test in Homestead with KV Racing Technology earlier this year, I’m very excited and anxious to race on an oval. I think both the team and I learned a lot and collected some good data at Homestead. I think we have a good baseline setup for Kansas and I am confident we can have a good race."
