Sarah Fisher to be on The Price is Right
05/20/09 CBS' Emmy Award-winning, The Price is Right, the longest-running game show in television history, welcomes IndyCar Series driver and team owner, Sarah Fisher, of Sarah Fisher Racing (SFR), on Friday, May 22 (11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. EDT) on the CBS Television Network. Fisher will present an appropriately-themed showcase featuring, among other prizes, a trip to the 2009 Indianapolis 500.
"I had such a blast going on the Price is Right," said Fisher, who will practice one last time in her Dollar General machine before Sunday's Indianapolis 500. "Drew Carey and all the staff at CBS and Fremantle were so gracious to me and seemed really excited to have us there. The show is such a mainstay in American television and I was honored to be involved. I've watched the show since I was a kid and never dreamed I'd be on it one day."
Fisher flew to Los Angeles, California, to film the segment at CBS Television City studio on April 15, 2009. After the show, Fisher had the opportunity to spin the famous 'Big Wheel," thus crossing an item off her bucket list.
