Renault to introduce upgrades in Turkey
"The team is working hard to introduce some new developments to the R29 for Turkey. We could therefore take a step forward and perhaps make up some ground on our rivals," the Spaniard said.
"I remain convinced that we can have a strong second half of the season if things unfold as we expect them to. We just need to continue working hard, keep our expectations high and the results will follow."
Flavio Briatore has also urged the team to react quickly in order to ensure that Renault are in the hunt for points – and even a possible victory – as the season progresses.
"We are working harder than ever and plan to introduce another step forward, starting at the next race in Turkey. We have shown we can react fast and hopefully the rest of the season will see us bring in serious points for the team," he said.
