Chris Andrews added to No. 6 UPS team
In an effort to improve communication between driver David Ragan and the engineering support group at Roush Fenway Racing, Chris Andrews will be working with the No. 6 UPS NASCAR Sprint Cup Series team for the next five weeks.
Andrews, RFR’s Engineering Manager, has been with the organization for almost three years and will assess what changes may be necessary to benefit the team’s performance.
“I made the decision on Chris’ special assignment for the next five weeks after consulting with Robbie Reiser, our General Manager, and the other RFR crew chiefs," said Jack Roush. “We arrived at the consensus for Chris to assist Jimmy and David with the application of our engineering tools to help with pre-weekend preparation and tuning at the track."
Jimmy Fennig will continue to call the races for the No. 6 UPS Ford Fusion and be involved in on-track activities throughout the weekend.
