Montagny testing for AGR

Fans have the opportunity to catch the winners of the past two IndyCar Series races at Infineon Raceway on Aug. 13 when Helio Castroneves and Scott Dixon will be among the drivers participating in a testing day on the 2.303-mile circuit.

The 9 a.m.-5 p.m. (local time) session, in advance of the Aug. 22-23 Indy Grand Prix of Sonoma, is free to the public. On the track will be:

• A.J. Foyt Racing (Ryan Hunter-Reay)
• Conquest Racing (Nelson Philippe)
• Dale Coyne Racing (Justin Wilson)
• Dreyer & Reinbold Racing (Mike Conway, Milka Duno)
• HVM Racing (E.J. Viso, Robert Doornbos)
• KV Racing Technology (Mario Moraes)
• Luczo Dragon Racing (Raphael Matos)
• Panther Racing (Dan Wheldon)
• Target Chip Ganassi Racing (Dixon)

Also, Franck Montagny will get back up to speed on a road course in and Andretti Green Racing car. The Frenchman, who in the recent past has competed in Formula One with Super Aguri, A1GP, the American LeMans Series and the Champ Car World Series, passed his Indy Racing League road course licensing test at Sebring in 2008. Sebastian Saavedra, who's second in the Firestone Indy Lights standings, also will test in an AGR car through the Firestone Indy Lights/IndyCar Series bonus program. IndyCar.com
