SPEED Live from Knoxville Nationals

Ralph Sheheen and Brad Doty will make the calls from the booth and Dave Argabright and Rob Klepper will be working the pits as SPEED delivers live coverage from the 49th Knoxville Nationals on Saturday beginning at 10 p.m. ET.

Competition on the famed Knoxville Raceway attracts some of the best racers in the world, as the four-day event brings in approximately 100,000 visitors to the small Iowa town with a population of 8,500 people.

“It's the biggest sprint car race of the year," said current NASCAR Sprint Cup Series points leader Tony Stewart, the USAC Triple Crown winner in 1995. “The best of the best come from all over the country. When you win the Knoxville Nationals, you've beaten the very best there is in winged sprint car racing."

In addition to race coverage, as three-time defending champ Donny Schatz, who races for Stewart, goes for four in a row in a Mario Andretti tribute car, SPEED also will capture happenings throughout the week leading up to Saturday’s racing.

SPEED on-air personality Erin Crocker climbs back into a sprint car at Knoxville as the 2003 410 Rookie of the Year and the first woman ever to race in a Knoxville A-feature.
