Brawn still no decision on drivers
Brawn has said that his team are still in discussions with both current drivers Jenson Button and Rubens Barrichello about 2010 – and that the line-up for next year is a 'work in progress'.
Button has shined this season and currently leads the drivers'' championship, however with no deal yet confirmed the Brit could still move elsewhere. Although that is believed to be extremely unlikely, Rubens Barrichello position is far more precarious.
Indeed after his outburst after the German Grand Prix, when he claimed the Brackley-based operation had 'lost him the race', the Brazilian may well find this season is his final at the pinnacle of the sport.
"It is a work in progress. I am sorry but we are in discussions with our drivers," Brawn told reporters. "We are obviously very happy with their performance this year and it is not appropriate for me to talk about what we are doing with our drivers at the moment. But we will announce it in good time what is going to happen."
