Williams would loan Hulkenberg to Ferrari

(GMM) Williams would release Nico Hulkenberg if Ferrari is interested in using him to replace the struggling Luca Badoer.

The 22-year-old German, who is the British team's test driver and managed by Willi Weber, is one of many names linked with the seat following Badoer's bad weekend at Valencia.

Hulkenberg, the favorite to take out the 2009 GP2 title, is tipped to replace Nico Rosberg as Williams' race driver for next season.

"We would loan Nico to Ferrari but I cannot imagine them agreeing to train a driver for us," Williams' technical director Sam Michael told Germany's Auto Motor und Sport.
