Nationwide team has lost its sponsor for 2010

NASCAR Nationwide Series driver Jason Keller has declared himself a free agent after his Baker Curb Racing team learned recently that its sponsor would not return to the No. 27 Ford for 2010.

Kimberly-Clark said it was moving to the JTG Daugherty Racing Sprint Cup Series team next year, leaving a sponsorship void for Baker Curb.

“Their scheme of things changed a little bit, from the K-C side," Keller said. “They’ve been a great sponsor of mine, on and off, the last several years. A lot of the personnel changed, and their whole sponsorship package [changed], what they thought they needed."

That leaves Baker Curb looking for a sponsor – and Keller looking for a ride. He said Saturday he’s already talked to other prospective team owners, in case Baker Curb can’t keep him.

That makes him a free agent.
