F1 reject Bourdais lands in Superleague

UPDATE (GMM) Sebastien Bourdais' first move to resurrect his motor racing career after losing his formula one seat is to the Superleague Formula series.

The open-wheel category that began last year combines motor sport with football, and the French daily L'Equipe reports that Bourdais, 30, has agreed to drive for the Spanish La Liga team Sevilla FC.

The Frenchman was recently ousted by Toro Rosso in favor of Jaime Alguersuari, and now he replaces Sevilla's Argentine driver Esteban Guerrieri.

Bourdais will make his Superleague debut at Portugal's Estoril track this weekend.
