NHRA suspends Pro Motorcycle rider

The yearlong suspension of Pro Stock Motorcycle rider Matt Guidera, announced Saturday night, was mandated by the NHRA rulebook, senior vice president of racing operations Graham Light said.

Light said it's important to note Guidera was suspended for missing a test, not failing one, but the penalty is harsh nonetheless.

"That's the policy," he said. "There's absolutely no wiggle room. It's black-and-white."
