Beyoncé, Aerosmith set for Abu Dhabi F1 race

US singer Beyoncé and rock group Aerosmith will be performing in Abu Dhabi as part of the Formula One racing weekend at the end of October.

Beyoncé will open the Grand Prix festivities on October 29, the National reported, citing sources close to the organizers.

Meanwhile, Aerosmith, sometimes referred to as "The Bad Boys from Boston" and "America's Greatest Rock and Roll Band'', will perform after F1’s first day/night race on November 1, according to the same report.

Flash Entertainment was less forthcoming, saying in a statement that there will be ''a fantastic line-up of artists performing on Yas Island during the race weekend.

"Media speculation appearing today (Tuesday) announcing Yas Island concerts is factually incorrect in the reporting of artist line-up, capacities, ticket holder access and location of performances,'' the statement went on.
