Ferrari still wants third car for Schu
(GMM) Stefano Domenicali on Sunday admitted Ferrari is still pushing hard to arrange a third cockpit for Michael Schumacher to occupy in 2010.
"A third car for us is still a big topic," the famous Italian team's boss told Germany's Bild am Sonntag newspaper.
"We are pushing because we believe that it makes sense, especially for someone like Michael Schumacher," Domenicali added.
He admitted that at present a comeback for seven time champion Schumacher, 40, is "impossible" for "health reasons". But as for 2010, "who knows?" said Domenicali.
Not all the teams share Ferrari's enthusiasm for the three car concept, however, and nor does Bernie Ecclestone, F1's chief executive.
He told Italy's La Stampa newspaper: "No team will have three cars. Two is enough."
