Senna insists Campos deal not signed yet

Bruno Senna

(GMM) Bruno Senna on Friday denied recent reports in the Spanish press that he has signed a contract to race with the new Campos team in 2010.

But the Brazilian, in the Interlagos paddock, admitted that he expects to make his formula one debut next March, and also named the Spanish outfit as an option.

"It's not done yet, we are in good condition with Campos in the negotiations but it's not done. It's only done when it's signed," he told the Reuters news agency.

The 26-year-old, whose late uncle Ayrton is buried in the nearby Morumbi cemetery, also revealed talks with other teams.

"We are still talking to other teams in case things go bad with any of the teams we are negotiating with," said Senna. "Manor and Campos are the strongest possibilities."

He said he hopes a deal for 2010 can be announced in two weeks.
