Work on Yas Marina Circuit began in February 2007, and has included:

Yas Island Future
Yas Island is one of the most unique and highly-touted projects within Aldar Properties’ current portfolio. The completion of Yas Marina Circuit represents Phase One of the Yas Island Development. With construction well on its way since 2007, the entertainment destination of Yas Island will occupy a total land area of 25km2 with approximately 17km2 used for development.
At completion, Yas Island will play host to numerous other attractions, such as a signature hotels, theme parks, marinas, golf courses and much more. Yas Island will cater to the local resident population as well as international tourists. The variety of attractions will make Yas Island a place for everyone to enjoy.
