FAZZT Racing hires AGR engineer

FAZZT Race Team has added open-wheel racing veterans Don Oldenburg as its crew chief and Allen MacDonald as chief race engineer for the No. 77 entry to be driven by Alex Tagliani during the 2010 IZOD IndyCar Series season.

MacDonald most recently was chief engineer for eight seasons at Andretti Green Racing. The team, which recently completed the purchase of cars and equipment from Roth Racing, is moving in to its shop on the northeast side of Indianapolis.

"We have been very fortunate to be able to finalize a number of our key personnel over the last few weeks," team general manager Rob Edwards said. "We have tried to be patient enough to get the right people, but to also be ready to roll by our first test in early January." indycar.com
