Horner insists Renault not 2010 engine supplier yet

(GMM) Christian Horner on Tuesday insisted a decision about Red Bull Racing's engine supplier for the 2010 season has not yet been taken.

On the FIA's entry list for next year, Renault was listed as the Austrian energy drink-owned team's continuing supplier, apparently ending speculation about a possible switch to Mercedes or Cosworth.

But a report of the German news agency DPA quoted Horner, Red Bull's team boss, as saying "nothing is confirmed yet", despite the publication on Monday of the FIA document.

The Briton suggested that Renault, set to announce its future approach to formula one before the new year, is only the likely supplier, whose name was put forward for the moment due to FIA requirements.
