Tony Stewart rained out down under

Sydney’s inclement weather has forced the postponement of this evening’s Valvoline Australian Sprintcar Grand Prix at Tyrepower Parramatta City Raceway.

The event, featuring NASCAR Legend Tony Stewart, four-time World of Outlaws Champion Donny Schatz and All Stars Champion Tim Shaffer, is now scheduled for tomorrow evening (December 27).

The American trio will back up a few days later (Tuesday December 29) for the Hogs Breath Sprintcar International. Tuesday’s event will also feature a Demolition Derby.

On the first weekend in the New Year (January 2 & 3) Stewart, Schatz and Schaffer will be joined by fellow American Jason Johnson and Australia’s best including Brooke Tatnell, Max Dumesny, Robbie Farr, Ryan Farrell and Kerry Madsen to battle for the $50,000 to win Scott Darley race presented by Coca Cola.
