Red Bull to launch in Jerez next Wednesday
2009 championship runner-up team Red Bull Racing has confirmed that it will be launching its new car, the RB6, to coincide with the start of Jerez testing next Wednesday. Drivers Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber will be joined by other key team personnel at the south-western Spanish venue.
With this week's 3-day test in Valencia coming to a close on Wednesday, Formula 1 will travel to Andalusia as Red Bull repeats the action of sister team Toro Rosso by launching its 2010 car before the start of a test session.
Vettel and Webber have not appeared in Valencia this week as Technical Director Adrian Newey has chosen to repeat the tactics of last year and focus more on wind tunnel development for the Renault-engined car. The decision to launch in Jerez is also an echo of last year's setup for the Milton Keynes-based team.
