Logano wins pole as NASCAR’s biggest star languishes in 36th

Joey Logano is on the pole for the Nationwide race at Fontana while NASCAR's biggest star, Danica Patrick, will start 36th.
Patrick's lap of 172.990 mph actually was 39th fastest in time trials and nearly 9 mph slower than what put Logano on the pole. He'll be joined by Joe Gibbs teammate Kyle Busch on the front row, with Brian Scott and Carl Edwards behind them in Row 2.
