NASCAR Fontana TV Rating

UPDATE The final rating for last Sunday's NASCAR Sprint Cup race on FOX was a 5.6, down 7% from last year's 6.0 final rating, down 10% from the 6.2 final rating in 2008 and down 16.5% from 2007. NASCAR does not appear able to stem its falling popularity, now in its 4th year. If people are out of work it stands to reason they may not be able to afford race tickets, but they certainly can afford to watch on free TV.

02/22/10 The overnight TV rating for the Auto Club 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup race in Fontana Sunday on FOX was a 5.0, down 5.7% from last year's overnight rating of 5.3 and down 18% from the 6.1 overnight rating in 2008, also on FOX.
