Alternative Energy takes center stage in LB
Green Power Prix View, free to all with a race ticket, will feature extensive, weekend-long displays of alternative energy vehicles including the latest from Toyota, an SSI Racing Electric Cobra EV and the popular Smart Car.
The Lifestyle Expo will also highlight renewable energy sources, water and energy conservation, green building and healthy lifestyles for inside the home, featuring such products as the Noritz Tankless water heater, energy efficient windows from Pacific Home Improvements and the latest tips from SA Recycling.
Improving personal lifestyles can get a boost from displays highlighting Nirve Bicycles and Long Beach Transit, while K1 Electric go-karts and the Novakinetics Electronic Performance Motorcycle will show race fans how to add a little alternative energy fun to their lives.
The Expo is open race weekend from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Sunday.
