Sirius Radio to broadcast 9 ALMS races

SIRIUS XM Radio announced today that it will offer live coverage of all nine rounds of the 2010 American Le Mans Series presented by Tequila Patr¢n to SIRIUS and XM subscribers nationwide.

The Series begins its season Saturday with the 58th Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring presented by Fresh from Florida, from Sebring International Raceway in Sebring, Fla. SIRIUS XM will offer live coverage of the race in its entirety starting at 10 a.m. ET on SIRIUS channel 127 and XM channel 245. Listeners will hear on-track action from the green flag to the checkered flag, plus pre- and post-race coverage.

The American Le Mans Series presented by Tequila Patr¢n features high-tech cars from prestigious automobile manufacturers – including Aston Martin, BMW, Jaguar, Mazda, Porsche, Corvette, Ferrari and Panoz – competing in a combination of endurance and sprint races on road-racing tracks as well as street circuits in major urban markets. Races feature exotic, open- and closed-top prototypes and sophisticated production-based Grand Touring (GT) cars all competing on the track at the same time.
