Renault signs deal with DIAC

The Renault team has confirmed a sponsorship deal with DIAC which will result in the company's logos appearing on the sidepods of Robert Kubica and Vitaly Petrov's cars from the Australian to Monaco Grands Prix.

With Renault F1 having been bought out by Gerard Lopez's Genii Capital prior to this season, the Enstone-based squad has now confirmed the sponsorship connection with the subsidiary of RCI Banque, a French market leader in automotive financing.

"We are delighted to offer DIAC and the RCI Banque group the opportunity to partner with Renault F1 Team during the opening rounds of the 2010 season," Lopez commented.

"This is an excellent opportunity for a member company of the Renault group to enjoy a significant short-term boost in brand awareness. We are pleased to welcome RCI Banque on-board for what we hope will be a successful association." GPUpdate.net
