NASCAR puts Leffler on probation

NASCAR has placed Jason Leffler, driver of the No. 38 car in the Nationwide Series, on probation for the next three series events for a rule violation he committed during the race at Nashville Superspeedway on April 3. Leffler's probation will run until April 28 of this year. Leffler was found to have violated Section 12-1 (actions detrimental to stock car racing — aggressive driving) of the 2010 NASCAR Nationwide Series Rule Book.

Leffler was parked for aggressive driving for wrecking James Buescher on Lap 144, a move deemed intentional stemming from an earlier incident in which Buescher got loose and hit Leffler, sending the 38 car into the wall.
