UPDATE NASCAR on Fox posted a 4.2/8 (7.0 million viewers) on Saturday night for racing from Darlington Raceway. Saturday night's telecast was up +5% over last year's 4.0/8 (6.7 mill) for the same race and managed to handily beat ABC's NBA Playoff game, which featured the LA Lakers, by +14% (vs. 3.7/7 – 5.8 mill). Season-to-date, NASCAR on FOX is averaging a 5.0/11 (8.3 million viewers), down -5% from last year's 5.2/11 (8.7 million viewers).

05/10/10 The NASCAR Sprint Cup Showtime Southern 500 earned a 3.9 overnight rating on Fox Saturday night, up 8.3% from a 3.6 overnight for the race last year.
