Auto GP hails Formula Medicine partnership

There's a new important partnership for Auto GP: the championship, that will hold its second round this weekend in Imola, found an agreement with Formula Medicine, one of the leading companies in the field of driver's medical, athletic and mental training. Thanks to this brand new partnership, all the drivers interested in the Formula Medicine supporting programmes will have the chance to join them at very special conditions, finding an easier way to enjoy the use of both the track assistance programmes and the more in-depth checks that can be done at the Formula Medicine headquarters in Viareggio, Italy. For Auto GP it's an undoubtedly prestigious partner: Formula Medicine, founded by Dr. Riccardo Ceccarelli, is worldwide known thanks to its research work with F.1 drivers, a programme that is going on from 1989. Among the drivers assisted by Formula Medicine there are names as Felipe Massa, Robert Kubica and Jarno Trulli, and the staff often assisted whole F1 teams, like Ferrari, Renault, Toro Rosso and Toyota. A top clients list that, from now, will also include the Auto GP drivers.

Enzo Coloni: "To master an high performance car like Auto GP, a driver must be perfectly fit, both mentally and physically. That's why I'm really happy to welcome Formula Medicine in the championship: their presence means that our drivers will work with a staff that is globally renowned thanks to the huge successes they clinched through the years with F1 drivers and teams. Thanks to their support, our drivers will be able to make the most of the Auto GP car".

Riccardo Ceccarelli: "This partnership with Auto GP represents a further boost for Formula Medicine's activities. The car is very challenging and lots of pro-drivers are racing in the championship, so I'm sure that the series' success will keep growing. For our staff it's the chance to keep using all the groundbreaking techniques we studied in 20 years of F1 activity in order to give our drivers the best psycho-physical training. I want to say thanks to Enzo Coloni for giving us this opportunity".
