SPEED’s Trackside Live Takes Party to Speed Street in Uptown Charlotte Friday

SPEED will take its highly popular Trackside Live program from the infield to uptown Charlotte Friday at Food Lion Speed Street live at 7 p.m. ET.

In what typically is one of the wildest shows of the entire NASCAR season, host Steve Byrnes and panelists Darrell Waltrip, Jeff Hammond, Larry McReynolds and Rutledge Wood will welcome guests Richard Childress, Brad Keselowski and Greg Biffle during the one-hour program. Trackside will air from the Coca-Cola stage at the intersection of Trade and Tryon Streets for the ninth consecutive year.

Additionally, Chef Nicky Morse, host of The Racing Chef on SPEED (Mondays at 10 p.m. ET), will appear at the Taste of Food Lion stage (located at Third and Tryon Streets) at Speed Street Friday 12-6 p.m. Chef Nicky will interact with fans, demonstrate recipes and conduct prize giveaways.

SPEED kicks off its coverage of the weekend’s Coca-Cola 600 on-track activities from Charlotte Motor Speedway Thursday at 2 p.m. ET with NASCAR Nationwide Series practice. After complete coverage from Charlotte Thursday and Saturday, SPEED returns Sunday at 3 p.m. ET for NASCAR RaceDay Built by the Home Depot, hosted by John Roberts and panelists Kyle Petty and Kenny Wallace, along with reporters Wendy Venturini and Hermie Sadler. The crew will welcome guests Kurt Busch, winner of last week’s NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race, Kasey Kahne and Jimmie Johnson.
