Video: Conway injured in horrific crash at end of 500

UPDATE Mike Conway has been found to have sustained a broken left leg in his horrific crash.

05/30/10 IndyCar driver Mike Conway from England is being flown to an Indianapolis hospital for evaluation following a horrific crash at the end of the Indy 500.

Conway was battling Andretti Autosport driver Ryan Hunter-Reay for position between turns three and four when the two collided. The 26-year-old Englishman's No. 24 car flew up into the catch fence then fell back toward the track, nearly taking out defending champion Helio Castroneves. The entire rear of the car was ripped off and he landed upside down.

Conway complained of an injury in his right leg following the wreck. He was immediately taken to Methodist Hospital for evaluation. He was flown because of the heavy post-race traffic.
