Mazda shows sales increases
Mazda North American Operations (MNAO) today reported a 35.2 percent jump in sales for May 2010 with 22,605 vehicles sold. Through the first half of the year, MNAO has sold 97,481 vehicles and is outpacing last year's sales at this time by 12.5 percent. MAZDA3 (up 53.8 percent) and CX-7 (up 55.2 percent) both more than doubled in sales when compared to last year with 11,536 and 2,513 units sold, respectively. CX-9 celebrated its best-ever May with sales of 2,518 units, accounting for a 41.1 percent increase over last year, while MAZDA6 (up 29.9 percent) and MAZDA5 (up 19.0 percent) also posted strong gains.
