Duno sixth in practice at Texas???

Ed Note: This is not entirely a surprise, as the higher banking is significantly easier to drive (especially at 100% throttle) than the flatter Indy track. But we will be happy to SEE how she does and give her full credit at the end of the race.

A surprise of sorts was Milka Duno in sixth (214.727 mph) in the No. 18 CITGO car for Dale Coyne Racing.

In three races at Texas, Duno has advanced her starting position twice (eight places in 2008 and 10 in '09).

"We've worked really hard to address issues that hurt us at Indy and we're all hoping to do well here," said Duno, was did not qualify for the Indy 500 on Bump Day.

Dario Franchitti, who is seeking to be the third consecutive 500 Mile Race winner to win at Texas in the same year, was ninth in the 65-minute practice session.
