Glock fined for speeding is slow Virgin

Virgin Racing driver Timo Glock was fined €1,000 for speeding in the pitlane at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve on Friday afternoon. Pitlane speeds during free practice are limited to 60 km/h in Montreal, but the German was caught at 65.0 km/h.

Friday's free practice session wasn't the best in terms of speed for the Virgin drivers. Timo Glock and team-mate Lucas di Grassi ended 23rd and 24th respectively.
