McLaren confirms MP4-12C dealers

McLaren has announced the three UK retailers for its new MP4-12C supercar.

Rybrook in Birmingham, Jardine Motors Group in London, and Sytner in Manchester will sell the MP4 from spring 2011 under the names McLaren Birmingham, McLaren London and McLaren Manchester.

The three retailers are the first of 35 to be announced to sell the MP4. The full European dealer network will be announced later this month, while the North American, Middle Eastern and South African dealers will be confirmed in the summer. Asia-Pacific dealers will be revealed in the autumn.

McLaren has said demand for 2011’s production of 1000 MP4-12C units has already exceeded supply.

By the middle of the decade McLaren wants to have “a full model range" of sports cars with the firm selling around 4000 units per year.
