NASCAR nails another substance abuser

Richard Petty Motorsports gasman Chris Moore has been indefinitely suspended from NASCAR for violating its substance abuse policy, the sanctioning body announced in a news release Tuesday.

Moore, who fueled the No. 43 car driven by AJ Allmendinger, has been released from the organization.

“RPM fully supports NASCAR’s substance abuse policy and respects the decision to indefinitely suspend Moore," said an RPM team statement. “He has been released from his position at RPM, effective immediately."
