Raphael Matos in the wall at Turn 6

Raphael Matos crashed in Turn 6 in this morning's IndyCar practice session for the Honda Toronto Indy. Matos went into the tire barrier hard on the outside of Turn 6 and the car suffered heavy left side damage on his Luczo Dragon Dallara.

The drivers all say that Turn 6 is the hardest corner on the circuit. It is blind and goes on a long way with a wall on the inside that makes it hard to get your line just right. The drivers have to commit to full throttle well before they can see the exit of the turn. Get it wrong and you are in the wall, which is what happened to Matos.
