Possible rain in Hungary
UPDATE (GMM) There have been a few spots of rain so far, but the Hungaroring looks set to be dry for Friday morning practice. The skies above the twisty Budapest venue are very overcast, and the longer range radars are showing showers to the south of the city. Local forecasters are predicting definite rain at the circuit at some point on Friday. Scattered rain is also likely on Saturday, ahead of a drier outlook for Sunday's race.
07/29/10 Rain is likely to hit the Hungaroring at some point over the weekend and local forecasts dictate that downpours could particularly affect proceedings for qualifying day in Budapest.
Hungary is yet to experience a rain-affected event since its unique 2006 race, when Jenson Button clinched his maiden Grand Prix victory for Honda.
For 2010, conditions are likely to remain dry for both practice sessions on Friday although the evening could see some sprinkles of rain arriving.
Heavy rain is then forecast for both the day and night of Saturday, with more light showers also possible for Sunday before the skies clear as night sets in post-race.
