Red flag at Pocono

UPDATE #2 NASCAR is still trying to get the end of the this race under way, but rain again has put that on hold. The yellow remains out following the red flag. Now backmarker Sam Hornish Jr. is leading because he did not stop during the yellow and the leaders did. What a travesty it would be to see a backmarker luck into the win after Jeff Gordon, Juan Pablo Montoya and Jimmie Johnson battled so hard for victory all day long.

Top 10 as of Lap 176
1 Sam Hornish Jr.
2 Greg Biffle
3 Mark Martin
4 Carl Edwards
5 Joey Logano
6 David Ragan
7 Martin Truex Jr.

08/01/10 Track cleanup has been completed and the rain has subsided and the race is about to go green again on Lap 172 of 200 following two hard crashes at Pocono.

08/01/10 Racing has come to a stop with a severe crash involving Kurt Busch. Elliott Sadler got caught in the aftermath and his car hit the wall head-on, completely destroying his hood as the engine and other motor components lay on the ground. Both drivers are OK, but it's starting to rain again at Pocono with Jeff Gordon, Juan Pablo Montoya and Tony Stewart out front.
