Peter Windsor resurfaces

Peter Windsor, co-founder of the stillborn USF1 project, has resurfaced as a Grand Prix analyst for e-magazine GP Week, having spent the last five months out of the public eye. The 58-year-old had been the pitlane reporter for Speed TV and Grand Prix editor of F1 Racing before moving to USF1 full-time at the end of last season, but has now returned to journalism with GP Week.

“I'm delighted to be contributing to GPWEEK on a regular basis," said Windsor. “On-line media in my view is the future for F1 and motor sport in general. GPWEEK reflects the enthusiasm and passion of its founders and in many ways takes me right back to my roots. I'm looking forward to sharing my love of the sport with a global audience that's growing by the week."

Windsor will write an analysis piece one week after each Grand Prix, while the e-zine will also publish a full-length interview with the Englishman next Monday detailing where it all went wrong with USF1. The interview is the first he has conducted since USF1 failed to make it to the grid at the Bahrain Grand Prix in March.
