Bourque to make Nationwide debut

NASCAR driver Pierre Bourque will make his debut in the NASCAR Nationwide Series this coming Sunday August 29th at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal, QC driving the #61 Avaya entry prepared by Specialty Racing out of Statesville, North Carolina.

This is the latest step in what has been a very busy racing season for Bourque in 2010. He has competed every scheduled event on the NASCAR Canadian Tire series and sits eleventh in the overall standings. Bourque can’t wait to get behind the wheel of the #61 Avaya Car. “This is a tremendous opportunity and real thrill for me" said Bourque. “I can’t think of a better place to make my first Nationwide Series run than here in Canada and on this fantastic track" he added.
