Just when you thought the Mercedes team was already horrible
It has been confirmed ahead of qualifying in Belgium that Nico Rosberg will take a 5-place grid drop penalty prior to Sunday’s race.
With Mercedes team-mate Michael Schumacher already set to start ten places further down the Spa grid due from where he qualifies today, to his aggressive move on Rubens Barrichello in Turkey, Rosberg takes his punishment for a gearbox change.
Both Mercedes works cars therefore take grid penalties for this weekend’s race.
