Miami fans can see IndyCars for free
Drivers scheduled to attend include reigning-Champion Dario Franchitti, two-time Champion Scott Dixon, Ryan Briscoe—who fell 12 points shy of the 2009 title—and Will Power, who missed last year’s Championship in Miami while recovering from a career-threatening back injury. In a remarkable comeback, Power enters the season’s final stretch—four consecutive oval tracks culminating at Homestead-Miami—as the leader in the 2010 IndyCar points standings.
Last year’s IndyCar title was decided in the Championship finale in Miami when Franchitti held off Briscoe and Dixon in the final 10 laps to win his second IndyCar title. Tickets to see the 2010 IndyCar Champions crowned Oct. 2 at Homestead-Miami Speedway start at $30 and are available by calling (866) 409-RACE or by logging on to THEChampionshipTrack.com.
