Fans can watch Earnhardt test for free

On Saturday, the driver field will be set for NASCAR’s 2010 Chase for the Sprint Cup Championship, which culminates this fall at Homestead-Miami Speedway with Ford Championship Weekend. And THIS MONDAY, race fans are invited to a FREE preview of the Championship-finale Ford 400, as Dale Earnhardt Jr. headlines a foursome of Sprint Cup drivers on track for tire-testing.

NASCAR’s most popular driver will be behind the wheel of the No. 88 Hendrick Motorsports car at THE Championship Track. Drivers scheduled to join him include A.J. Allmendinger, Joey Logano and Brad Keselowski, the favorite to claim NASCAR’s Nationwide Series Championship in Miami during Ford Championship Weekend. Fans are invited to watch drivers take to the 1.5-mile, variable-banked oval for FREE from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the 4th-Floor Speedway Club grandstand seats.

Homestead-Miami Speedway is hosting Goodyear tire-testing in advance of NASCAR’s 2010 series-crowning Ford Championship Weekend, when Champions will be crowned in all three of NASCAR’s pre-eminent touring series. Tickets to see NASCAR’s Champions crowned will be on sale at the track Monday and start at $35 for the Camping World Truck Series (Nov.19), $30 for the Nationwide Series (Nov. 20) and $55 for the Sprint Cup Series (Nov. 21). During Ford Championship Weekend, kids 12 and under will be admitted FREE into general-admission seats for Friday night’s Camping World Truck Series Championship and for $10 for Saturday’s Nationwide Championship.
