Dover Goodyear Tire Notes

Teams in both NASCAR series in action at Dover this weekend will be running the same Goodyear tire codes . . . this is the same combination of left- and right-side tires that NASCAR teams ran at Dover earlier this season . . . this is also the same right-side tire code (D-4272) that these teams ran in the fall race at Dover last season . . . in 2010, NASCAR teams have run this right-side code at Michigan (both series) and Kentucky (Nationwide only) . . . unlike on other NASCAR ovals one mile or less in length, where teams do not run inner liners, teams are required to run liners in all four tire positions at Dover . . . air pressure in those inner liners should be 12-25 psi greater than that of the outer tire. The estimated pit window for Sprint Cup cars is every 75-80 laps, based on fuel mileage.
